Initially, the last date to complete the DDA Housing Scheme Registration 2021 was 7th February 2022 but now it has been extended to 10th March 2022.

On 24, December 2022, DDA had launched the Special Housing Scheme for those who want to have a house in Delhi but are not able to buy it because of the low budget.
Under this scheme. the authority had introduced 18,335 affordable HIG, MIG, LIG and Janta Flats. out of these, 11,452 flats belong to the LIG category and the rest are under HIG, MIG flats with the price range between 14.1 Lakh to 41.1 Lakh rupees.
If we talk about the locations of these flats in New Delhi, approximately 40% (8000) of the total flats are located in Narela only, while the rest are in the various locations of the state like Vasant Kunj, Paschim Vihar, Dwarka, Rohini, Jahangir Puri, Madipur, Ramgarh, Sirsapur, Lok Nayak Puram, Mangalapuri, etc.
In order to submit the online applications for DDA Special Housing Scheme 2021-22, aspirants have to pay the registration amount which is as follows: 25000 Rs. for those who fall under economically weaker sections (EWS), 1 Lakh Rs for Low Income Group(LIG), 2 Lakh Rs for Medium Income Group (MIG) and Higher Income Group(HIG). The registration fee has to be processed by the applicant at the time of registration.
The complete process starts from online registration to allotment of the flats will be done from the official website of DDA only.
Once the allotment is done, the allottee will have to visit the DDA office for the final paperwork that includes the conveyance deed also.

As per the figures released by senior DDA officials, The authority has received approximately 16000 online applications for DDA Special Housing Scheme till 7th February 2022.
After seeing this kind of massive response, DDA has announced that they are extending the last date of online registration which is now 10th March 2022.

How to Apply for Delhi Development Authority (DDA) Housing Scheme 2021-22?
Step 1- Firstly, Visit the official website of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) at eservices.dda.org.in.
Step 2- You will see “DDA Special Housing Scheme 2021” on the right side of the homepage, click on it.
Step 3- You will be redirected to a new webpage where you will find a “Registration” button, click on it.
Step 4- Read out the important instructions and fill in the required details in the DDA Housing Scheme Registration Form.
Step 5- After entering all the details click on “Request for OTP” and you will receive an OTP on your registered number.
Step 6- Enter the OTP to validate your profile and your registration will be completed.
Step 7- Now you have to log in by entering your login credentials, (Your PAN No. is your user id for login and one-time password).
Step 8- Now you need to fill in and submit the DDA Housing Scheme Application Form.
Step 9- Make the application fee payment.
Step 10- Take a printout of the application form for future use.
Note: The last date of online application for DDA Housing Scheme 2021-2022 is 10th March 2022 so submit your applications on or before the last date.
