HUL Q2 Results: Dividend, Profit, YOY Growth

HUL stands for Hindustan Unilever and on Friday they released their Q2 Results.

In HUL Q2 Results, they recorded a net profit of Rs 2,616 crore which is nearly 20% year-on-year (YOY) growth for the September quarter.

If we talk about Dividends, the HUL board has declared an interim dividend of Rs 17 per share.

During this quarter the Raw material cost rose to Rs 5,197 crore which is 27% and employee cost increased to Rs 709 crore which is 22%.

HUL said that home care has delivered a great 34% growth in revenue. Overall 4% growth was recorded since last year.

EBITDA i.e Earnings  before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization has grown to Rs 3,377 crore which is nearly 8% per year.

Good News is that their Advertising and Promotional cost dipped during this September quarter.
